AA batteries measure 49.2mm to 50.5mm in length and 13.5mm to 14.5mm in diameter. The size varies slightly from one brand to another.

The Duracell batteries included with the Steam Controller should be a good fit. If your batteries are too tight or too loose, check the dimensions on the manufacturer's website.
