You selected the issue: Can't find my host computer

Your Steam Link and host computer must be connected to the same router to see each other.

Troubleshooting:
Make sure Steam is running and logged in
In order for the Steam Link to see your host computer, it must be turned on with Steam running and logged in to your Steam account.
Re-check Enable streaming in settings
  1. Launch the Steam client
  2. In the top-left, click Steam, then Settings
  3. Under the In-Home Streaming tab, uncheck and re-check the Enable streaming checkbox
  4. Click OK
Make sure Link and PC are on the same network
Ensure that the Steam Link and your computer are connected to the same network. If the first 3 numbers of your Steam Link's IP address are the same as your computer's IP address, they're probably on the same network.

How to find your Steam Link's IP address:
  1. From the Steam Link main menu, select Settings
  2. Select Network
