You selected the issue: My device won't connect, but it appears in Bluetooth Setup
Troubleshooting:
Replace the batteries
Replace the batteries of the device or make sure it is fully charged.
Confirm pairing functionality with another device
Try to pair the device with something else (laptop, cell phone, etc.) and verify that it works properly.
Forget device connection and pair again
  1. Turn off the bluetooth device
  2. Using another input device (wired mouse or controller), select the Bluetooth device in the list in the Steam Link's Bluetooth settings
  3. Press the (X) button to delete the pairing between the Link and the Bluetooth device
  4. Turn on the Bluetooth device in pairing mode, select the device in the Link menu, and try to initiate the pairing again
