You selected the issue: Wake on LAN not functioning

The Wake on LAN feature only works with wired networks on computers configured to Wake on LAN.
You may experience issues with WOL if you recently switched to Windows 10.

Troubleshooting:
Disable fast startup in Windows
  1. On your host PC, press the Windows key
  2. Type: power
  3. Select Power options
  4. Under Shutdown settings, disable fast startup
Enable WOL in Windows
  1. Press the Windows key
  2. Type: device manager
  3. Select Device Manager
  4. Under Network adapters, right-click your network adapter and select Properties
  5. In the Advanced tab, find and enable Wake on Magic Packet
  6. In the Power Management tab, check Allow this device to wake the computer and related checkboxes.
Enable WOL in your BIOS
The process for enabling WOL in BIOS differs between computers. For further details, look up the process for your particular computer.

To access PCI options in the BIOS:
  1. Shut down your computer
  2. Power-on your computer and press the DEL key until the BIOS appears
  3. Find the Advanced menu
Update WOL support drivers
If you've just switched to Windows 10, you may try updating your PCI drivers (Network Interface Controllers).
The latest RealTek PCI Express driver software has corrected some issues with Windows 10 WOL.
