Big Picture mode
Big Picture is a mode of Steam designed for use with your TV and game controller, so you can enjoy your Steam games from the comfort of your couch. With the press of a button, Steam displays a full-screen user interface which has been completely redesigned for readability and interaction on TV. It can also be used on your usual computer display.

  • Total HD Space and Free HD Space
  • Steam Client Language
  • Operation System Type and Version
  • GPU Make & Model
  • GPU Driver Version
  • GPU Hardware Information
  • Number of Display Devices and dimensions of each
  • DirectX and/or OpenGL version and feature support
  • Touch Input Device count
  • Gamepad/Joystick count
  • Steam Service status information

Step 1

To pinpoint the cause of your issue, the Steam Client needs to ask your computer for information about your computer's hardware and system errors. This information includes things like your graphics driver versions, system specifications, available storage space, Steam log files, and application crash history including minidump files for Steam and some games (view a complete list here).


This help request must be submitted from the Steam Client.
